Rotary kiln refers to the revolving kiln which is widely used in many production industries such as building material, metallurgy, chemistry and environmental protection and its application originated from cement production. According to the different material types to be processed, circumgyrate kiln can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemistry kiln and lime kiln. Cement kiln is mainly used for calcining cement clinker and it can be divided into dry process production cement kiln and wet process production cement kiln.
The preheating condition of the materials is good, the uneven material feeding phenomenon is greatly reduced, the running rate of the kiln is high and the operation of the machine is stable.
Materials go from the kiln tail to the kiln for calcining. Due to the inclination of the cylinder and the slow rotation, the materials will roll along the peripheral direction and move along the axial direction to continue to complete the decomposition and calcinations process. In the end, the generated clinker will go into the cooling machine from the hot kiln hood for cooling. The fuel is injected to the kiln from the kiln head, and the exhaust gas produced by the calcinations will carry out heat exchange with the materials and then will be discharged from the kiln tail.
