Shaking table, which can also be called jerking table, concentrator table, ore concentrator or shaking concentrator, is a gravity separation machine used for separating fine particles. Table concentrator has been widely used for separating tungsten, tin, tantalum, niobium and other rare metal and precious metal ores, and also used for separating iron, manganese ore and coal. When used for processing tungsten and tin ore, the effective recycling granularity range of the shaking table is 2~0.04mm.
Jerking table has such advantages as high concentration ratio, low energy consumption and convenient management, and it has high cost performance.
The separation process of the concentrator table is carried out on an inclined bed which is moving back and forth. The ore particles are sent in from the feeder chute on the upper corner of the shaking table, and the feed water tank will supply crosswise water. Then under the gravity, the impulsive force of the crosswise water and the inertia force and frictional force produced by the asymmetric motion of the bed, the ore particles will layer according to proportion and granularity and have longitudinal motion along the bed and transverse motion along the slanting bed. For this reason, the ore particles with different proportion and granularity will flow down in a fan shape along their movement direction and be discharged from the different areas of ore concentrate end and tailing side, and become ore concentrate, middlings and tailings.
