Hammer crusher, which is also called hammer mill or hammer mill crusher, is a machine making use of the hammer rotating with high speed to impact the materials and crush them along the natural crack, bedding surface and joint surface.
Hammer crusher machine is suitable for crushing crisp and medium hard materials whose water content is not high such as limestone, coal, shale, gangue, chalk, asbestos ore and coke in building material, chemistry, power, mine and metallurgy and other industrial departments.

The main electric motor drives the rotor which is installed with big belt wheel through the coupling V belt and the ores are fed to the feeding mouth of the crusher by heavy type feeder machine. The ores will fall onto the feeding roller with damping device, and two feeding roller rotating at the same direction will send the ores onto the rotor rotating with high speed. Then the hammers will hit the ores with high linear speed, and at the same time, crush or throw up the materials, and the materials that are thrown up will hit the impact lining board or hit the other materials and then be crushed, and brought by the hammers to the crushing board and the grate working area to continue to be hit, squeezed and crushed, until they are crushed to the sized smaller than the gap of the grating bar, and finally discharged from the bottom of the crushing chamber.
